(1) According to section 34 of the Act, when the Commission publishes the results of written or practical examination, it shall publish the number according to Schedule-2 in alphabetical order or on the basis of roll number in proportion to the vacancies.
(2) When publishing the result according to sub-rule (1), for the purpose of inclusion in the temporary merit list, the names of the candidates up to twenty percent of the number of posts (at least two) from among the candidates who have obtained a pass mark but whose name could not be included in the result, shall be sent in a separate seal. But,
(1) In the event that less than the prescribed number of candidates are available, a smaller number of names can be sent accordingly.
(2) If the number of candidates selected from the written or practical examination is enough to be included in the provisional merit list, a separate list will not be sent for that purpose.
(3) In the case of the post where the practical test will be conducted after the written test, the provisional merit list will not be sent when the results of the written test are published.
